Ramblings of an Uneven Mind

Oriental Ramen is cultural appropriation, let’s start a petition to get them to rename it. As one of the most popular packaged foods, it’s important that they do not promote appropriation because everyone sees it.  I don’t care that they’re originally Japanese, it’s wrong of them.  Let’s all work together to stop the injustice!

really though

if breasts, butts and legs are so distracting to men, to the point they cant function

why arent they that distracting to lesbians

and at that point

why isnt the penis bulge and legs not distracting enough to gay men to warrant men being put under the same dress codes

I really want some guys to confirm this

I’m a guy and it’s 10000% bullshit

I hate it when any trekkie judges a generation of Star Trek without watching the entire generation.

Mostly because (and we, as Trek fans, should know this) you get attached to the generation slowly (yes, any generation!).  No two generations are alike - if you start watching DS9 after being a longtime Next Generation fan, of course it’s going to be different and new. It’s not a continuation of TNG, it’s an entity of its own.  Does that mean it’s any less of a Star Trek generation? No. It’s just not the one you’re used to.  You just have to give yourself time to adjust to the new dynamics, dilemmas, and new characters.

I myself always refused to watch TOS (yes, you may laugh at me) because I had heard that it was very oldschool and not as good as the more recent material…

Well, I started watching it recently and I love it, cheese and all.

Honestly it kinda botheres me that there are galleries of actors and actresses that come out as gay/lesbian

Not because they’re gay/lesbian, but because there are galleries of them like they’re something different or unusual

Like, that’s the issue with today’s perception of the LGBT community.  They aren’t just accepted for who they are, people point them out like they’re something special and unique.

That’s now how we should be viewing it.  It should be “Oh, Jodie Foster is a lesbian? Okay.”  and move on with our lives.  Not point them out or put them on display like they’re unusual.  Because that’s what creates segregation between the LGBT community and straight people - they’re not just accepted as normal people, they’re labeled.  We won’t be able to unify until people stop going “Omg guess who’s gay” and start going just accepting them as normal. We need to stop treating it like it’s this shocking revelation when people “come out” and start treating it like something normal.

OMG! Incredible “extreme” cosplay called Merida by the model Tina Rybakova. Photo by Dasha Kond

”I need a bear for my cosplay. You need a what? A bear. 5 years, an exotic pet license, and 15,000 dollars later we get this. Dedication…”

that’s

that’s a fucking bear

she must be a little cold

This is nice… but not Merida. Beyond the red hair this honestly looks nothing like her and I can’t even tell that this is a Merida cosplay beyond the bear.

10/10 modeling shot.

2/10 cosplay.
